BRIEF BIO

Growing up with my father as a mime, fantasies of the circus and theatre, it was natural for me to want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life on stage. After my first play at 4 years old,  that dream was cemented. I would practice with my father, creating clown routines, accompany him to his events and watch in wonder as he made people laugh and smile.

In my mid-teens I fell in love with popping, a funk style dance from Fresno, California. I started traveling from Michigan to Ohio and from Iowa and Chicago to California to learn from other dancers and compete. When I was 18 I started performing.

Now I perform dance, contortion, and clowning as well as coach professionally.

COMMUNITY WORK

I give back to my community as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. I’ve worked with multiple non-profits developing dance & performance programs for youth and fitness/ health programs for adults. Currently I work with Motor City Street Dance Academy creating free health and fitness videos and leading fitness workshops at the studio.

I have created multiple programs for various non profits such as the YMCA, Bright Futures, Fly Creativity Labs, MCSDA, etc., leading classes that teach empathy, compassion, confidence, and community through performance art. I also developed Healthy Eating and Physical Activity programs for multiple summer camps and after school programs
